Have eaten here several times. I come back because of the all-round quality. Six never fails. Pleasant dining room, positive ambience, friendly and alert staff though not pushy, relaxed and pleasant demeanor and excellent food . We had a simple meal, scrambled egg on sourdough toast. When the food is presented you canvases that someone has taken trouble over its presentation. It looks good, it tastes good. We'll get back for more ere long.

A must visit if you haven’t already been. Beautiful food with a gorgeous view. The cocktails are amazing (and strong!) also. The Thursday tapas and Friday Mexican night is great value for money and you must get get the slow cooked steak chilli, unreal! They also do themed nights complete with saxophonist. The staff are very attentive and friendly even when rushed off their feet. A welcome and must needed addition to our thriving sea front.

Gorgeous brunch there this morning... A flat white, and crab with creme fraiche, pea shoots and a generous smattering of capers on sourdough toast... And a big thank you to the team there for sorting me out with ice and vinegar after a wasp decided to sting my arm (out at the end of the pier).

We had an absolutely brilliant time today at Six today. I bought vouchers for my friend's birthday and I couldn't be happier. I have coeliac disease and they looked after me so well. Eva was our waitress and she was lovely, always topping up our prosecco. I would highly recommend this place to others for a fantastic brunch experience.

Amazing restaurant, we called in for a coffee whilst out for a morning walk. Great decor, friendly and professional staff. Super coffee and we also had the mini scones, which were fabulous. Dont miss out. Call in for breakfast lunch or dinner.

Above standard restaurant or better say.. tapas bar by the Roker beach. I learned a brand new vocabulary here "charcuterie" and I liked it :-) Very nice views, friendly staff and super-tasty seafood sandvich was the main benefit to me. They offer fine sellection of wines and some good lagers on tap. Thank you!

So glad we finally have a place like this down roker seafront. I've visited a couple of times and loved the food both times. I'm yet to tackle the fish board which looks huge. Great quality cheeses and fish to suit my dietary requirements. Staff very friendly too and go out of their way to help. Can't wait to visit again added a few pics from both visits.
